So grateful to have secured accommodation at this hotel late on 31 Dec 21 with no booking. This after being extremely disgusted and disappointed by the accommodation booked at another lodge which we were certainly not prepared to stay at. We were travelling with our 2 children (21 and 15) and due to peak season (new year's eve) we could only secure the Marula suite and a staff room for the... children which was more than adequate (pics attached). The Marula suite was extremely clean, tastefully decorated and spacious with a huge king bed, twin showers and basins, bath tub, large seating area and a really fantastic view of the Kruger bushveld. Bed was extremely comfortable. The room looks exactly like the pics on the website. Really close to the Kruger gate (about 400m) and close to the city center. Breakfast was simply amazing. Top class cappuccinos, delicious fruit and muffins. Omelettes and poached egg dishes were simply amazing and possibly the best we have ever had. We also ordered room service and had the grilled fish and chips - the fish was extremely moist and grilled to perfection with really crispy skin. The chips were crispy and really tasty. Will certainly return again for this unique boutique bush hotel experience.read more

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was incredible. We were so tired after driving all the way from O.R Tambo to Bushveld, but as soon as we arrived at Bushveld, we were warmly welcomed by Roxanne at reception. This hotel is beautiful. The staff is attentive and friendly.Communication was great! I had one special request prior to check in which they went over and beyond with. The food at the... restaurant on property was AMAZING! Honestly this is now our preferred hotel in Phalaborwa! I would highly recommend staying here. A great place to stay for either couples, family and friends.read more

The food was magnificent. I can definitely recommend the pork belly. The service was fantastic. Our Waitron, Rejoice and her helper Lesego were very attentive. A wonderful experience.
